ORDINANCE NO. 16,531
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CITY LAND
USE PLAN IN THE I -430 DISTRICT, IN
VARIOUS LOCATIONS TO VARIOUS USES
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Planning staff after a review of the existing and
likely future development patterns recommends the plan be
modified; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission recommends the new use
pattern as more appropriate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1: The area between Shackleford Road and I -430,
south of Markham is changed from Neighborhood Commercial to
Commercial.
SECTION 2: The southeast corner of Autumn Road and
Financial Center Parkway is changed from Commercial to
Public /Institutional.
SECTION 3: The area north of Financial Center Parkway from
west of Springwood to east of Harkin is changed from Single
Family, Office and Commercial to Mixed Office Commercial; and the
area south of Financial Center Parkway to south of Hermitage Road
from Harkin to Shackleford Road is changed from Commercial and
Office to Mixed Office Commercial.
SECTION 4: The area between Kanis Road and Executive Center
Drive from Shackleford to Center View Drive is changed from
Neighborhood Commercial and Office to Mixed Office Commercial.
SECTION 5: The area west of Center View Drive to Bowman
Road, from Sandpiper Subdivision to Shackleford West Boulevard is
changed from Multifamily and Single Family to Suburban Office
with Multifamily and Low Density Multifamily along Bowman Road.
And finally, an Open Space Strip along the north boundary of the
Sandpiper Subdivision.
SECTION 6: Area either side of Bowman Road at Panther
Creek, east of Bowman Road the Multifamily is changed to Single
Family. Along the west side of Bowman Road, south of the creek,
the Multifamily is changed to Low Density Multifamily and north
of the creek the Low Density Multifamily is changed to Single
Family.
SECTION 7: At the Northeast corner of Bowman Road and
Colonel Glenn Road from the Commercial is changed to Public
Institutional.

changed to reflect this amendment.
