ORDINANCE NO 16p457
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MASTER STREET PLAN
SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 10 AND NORTH OF CHENAL
PARKWAY AND FOR OTHER MATTERS
WHEREAS, the property owners requested the City change the
location of a north -south arterial from Chenal Parkway to Cantrell
Road and modify the collector pattern, and;
WHEREAS, the Traffic Engineering staff agrees with the changes
and believes the new connection on Chenal Parkway is an
improvement, and;
WHEREAS, the area is still adequately served by collectors and
arterials.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK.
SECTION 1: The southern terminus of the unnamed,
north -south arterial west of Johnson Ranch Road is moved to the
northwest along Chenal Parkway.
SECTION 2: The collectors between the new alignment and the
extension of Taylor Loop Road (west leg) are removed and replaced
with stabled collectors.
SECTION 3: The unnamed collector parallel (to the north)
Chenal Parkway and terminating at the extensive of Taylor Loop Road
(west leg) is removed from the north -south collector to the
extension of Taylor Loop Road (west leg).
SECTION 4: The collectors between the new alignment of the
north -south arterial of Chenal Parkway are removed and replaced by
a collector north from the new alignment to Highway 10.
