AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 16,331 (THE 1993
BUDGET ORDINANCE) APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR FESTIVAL
SERVICES AND ELECTION COSTS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas passed
the Budget Ordinance of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas for 1993 on December 21,
1992; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors passed Resolution No. 8,882 on March 31,
1993 authorizing services to be provided by the City for a festival to be held during July
or August estimated to cost $58,500; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors passed Ordinance No. 16,435 on June 1, 1993
referring to the voters an option for the reorganization of the City Manager form of
government estimated to cost $20,000; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Thirty -five thousand dollars ($35,000) is hereby appropriated from
the General Fund balance to be allocated by the Finance Department to overtime
accounts in the Police Department budget.
SECTION 2. Twenty -three thousand dollars ($23,000) is hereby appropriated
from the General Fund balance to be allocated by the Finance Department to the
appropriate accounts in the Parks and Recreation Department budget.
SECTION 3. Twenty -five thousand dollars ($25,000) is hereby appropriated from
the General Fund balance to be allocated by the Finance Department to the election
budget account in the General Government budget.

SECTION 4. That all other provisions of Ordinance No. 16,331 shall remain in
full force and effect.
