AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING APPROPRIATIONS FROM THE
SPECIAL PROJECTS FUND TO THE 1988 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT
BOND FUND.
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas has
appropriated funding for the completion of the War Memorial Fitness Center from two
funds; and
WHEREAS, construction of the Center is primarily funded from proceeds of the
1988 Capital Improvement Bond Issue; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to consolidate the accounting for the cost of the Center
into one project in the same fund, which should be the 1988 Capital Improvement Bond
fund, in order to maintain accurate and complete records of the use of these taxpayer
funds and bond proceeds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the Finance Department is hereby authorized to transfer
accounts 210 - 230 -0211 and 210 -230 -0283 from the Special Projects Fund into account
301- 230 -0048 in the 1988 Capital Improvement Bond Fund (the War Memorial Fitness
Center project).
