(AMS) TO CONTINUE COMPUTER SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE FOR THE CITY'S FINANCE AND HUMAN RESOURCES SYSTEM. WHEREAS, the Board of Directors may dispense with the requirement of competitive bidding in exceptional situations where such procedure is not feasible; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the agreement, AMS is obligated to keep the software current to GASB standards and provide tax table and other software updates and 24 -hour on -line maintenance support; and WHEREAS, AMS has provided the City with this software maintenance since January of 1988 and is the sole source for the City's system. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORADAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock finds that competitive bidding should be dispenses with for the purchase of computer software maintenance on the City's Finance and Human Resource System as an exceptional situation exists and competitive bidding is not feasible. SECTION 2.
