vWHEREAS, the Office of Comprehensive Planning, in conjunction with

v the consulting firm, Manes Castin Massie & McGetrick, has prepared a
land use plan for the Extraterritorial Area to be used as a guide for
future land use decisions; and
WHEREAS, the Extraterritorial Land Use Plan for Areas One, Two,
n and Three is the second phase of the Extraterritorial Land Use Plan; and

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission endorses and recommends adoption

o WHEREAS, the Extraterritorial Land Use Plan incorporates and is

ro intended to reflect in general form the Highway 10 Land Use Plan, As

Amended, which was approved by the City Board on May 20, 1986; and
a WHEREAS, it is understood that district plans providing greater
detail for Areas Two and Three will follow shortly; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors recognizes the need for a
comprehensive plan for this portion of the City of Little Rock in order
to provide for proper and orderly growth and redevelopment.

r`7 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF

THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Extraterritorial Land Use Plan for Areas One, Two
and Three is hereby adopted.

SECTION 2. The Suburban Development Plan (Ordinance No. 13,874)
is hereby amended to incorporate the provisions of the Extraterritorial
Land Use Plan for Areas One, Two and Three.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage.
