AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE ALL .DOCUMENTS FOR THE
PURCHASE OF THE NEVA TALLEY PROPERTY AND
CONSTRUCTION OF AN EMERGENCY OPERATION CENTER
LOCATED AT MARKHAM AND STATE STREETS;
APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR SAID PURCHASE AND
ACCEPTING THE 5150,000 GRANT FROM THE STATE.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. There is hereby appropriated 5550,000 from
unexpended funds for the purpose of purchasing the Neva Talley
property located at Markham and State Streets and for the
construction of an emergency operation center.
Section 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to execute all documents for the purchase of the Neva Talley
property located at Markham and State Streets.
Section 3. The Board of Directors formally accepts the
5150,000 grant from the State for the purpose of constructing an
emergency operation center.
