DESCRIPTION:
Communications Equipment
DISCUSSION:
These items were bid in April of 1984 to
verify whether or not this equipment could be
provided by more than one supplier, that being
Motorola. As this equipment must be fully
compatible with our existing Motorola Commu-
nication System, Motorola was the only company
who responded. They have extended their 1984
prices to the city at this time and it is
recommended that bidding procedures be waived
as bidding would not help the cities position
in this purchase. A copy of the 1984 tabula-
tion is attached.
It is also requested that the city be able to
buy from this list for the remainder of this
fiscal year.
