AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING MONEY ON HAND
AND TO BE RECEIVED DURING 1986 IN THE
REVENUE SHARING TRUST FUND IN THE AMOUNTS
AND FOR THE PURPOSES SET OUT BELOW AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock will be receiving Revenue
Sharing Trust monies for 1986; and
WHEREAS, the City is desirous of appropriating these funds
for various projects, programs and special equipment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock hereby appropriates the following amounts for the stated
purposes:
(1) 81,805,396 Equipment Replacement
(2) 460,000 Fire Station /Kanis Road
(3) 953,000 Street Resurfacing
(4) 325,000 Intersection Channel Univ. Ave.
(5) 110,400 Signals
(6) 500,000 SW Governmental Complex
(7) 150,000 Minor Drainage Repair
(8) 460,000 Fire Station /Markham
(9) 500,000 Coleman Creek Drainage
Section 2. In the event the City Board of Directors decides
to lease any of the above equipment included in the amount
provided for therein; then the ,appropriated funds for that
equipment shall become unencumbered and the money previously
appropriated will become available for reappropriation for other
projects or purposes.
Section 3. Declaring an Emergency. It is hereby found and
determined that there is an immediate and urgent need for the
adoption of this ordinance in order to better serve the citizens

1 of the City of Little Rock. Therefore, an emergency is
2 hereby declared to exist and this ordinance being necessary for
3 the preservation and advancement of the public health, safety and
4
5 welfare, shall be in full force and effect from and after its
6 passage.
