ORDINANCE NO. 15,067
AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND CLOSING
THE ALLEY IN BLOCK 277 OF ORIGINAL
ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, it has been determined that part of the alley
in Block 277 of Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas, as
designated on the attached plat of said Addition is no
longer needed for corporate purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIREC-
TORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Except as stated in Section 2 below, the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases, vacates and
abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the
public generally, in and to the alley designated as follows:
Part of the alley way located within
Block 277, Original City of Little Rock,
between Izard and Chester Streets, in
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, being
more particularly described as:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot
7, Block 277, Original City of Little
Rock, said corner being the intersection
of the East right -of -way line of Chester
Street and the South right -of -way line
of said East -West alley; thence North
along the right -of -way line of Chester
Street to its point of intersection with
the North right -of -way line of the East
West alley; thence East along the North
right -of -way line of the East -West alley
to the middle of Lot 2, Block 277,
Original City of Little Rock; thence
South to the middle of Lot 11, Block
277, Original City of Little Rock;
thence West to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. The City shall be granted alternate
right -of -way for use by the public utilities, as follows:
1. The West ten (10) feet of Lots Six (6) and Seven (7),
Block 277, Original City of Little Rock.
2. The East ten (10) feet of Lots Four (4) and Nine (9),
Block 277, Original City of Little Rock.

3. Commencing at the Southeast corner of Lot Nine (9),
Block 277, Original City of Little Rock; thence North
along the East line of said Lot Nine (9), 150.0' to the
point of beginning; thence East, 75.0'; being the
centerline of a twenty (20) foot wide easement, said
easement being ten (10) feet either side of said
described line.
4. Commencing at the Southwest corner of Lot Seven (7),
Block 277, Original City of Little Rock; thence North
along the West line of said Lot Seven (7), 64.01, to
the point of beginning; thence East, 150.0'; being the
centerline of a ten (10) foot wide easement.
5. The West five (5) feet of Lot Ten (10), Block 277,
Original City of Little Rock.
SECTION 3. Abutting owners of record, receiving title
to the abandoned right -of -way and easement shall at their
cost remove all vestiges of public use and access as may
exist; such modifications shall include, but are not limited
to the following:
The edge of pavement of the right -of -way shall be
rebuilt to conform to existing conditions in the
general vicinity where the abandoned right -of -way
and easement intersects with the remaining public
right -of -way.
SECTION 4. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified
by the City Clerk, shall be filed in the Office of the
Recorder of Pulaski County and recorded in the records of
the County. -
SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.
