3 AN ORDINANCE CONDEMNING A PARCEL OF REAL PROPERTY
4 WITHIN THE CITY.OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS FOR THE
5 IMPROVEMENT OF GEYER SPRINGS ROAD; DIRECTING THE CITY
6 'ATTORNEY TO INSTITUTE CONDEMNATION PROCEEDINGS; AND
7 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT.ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
11 DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
12 SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock does hereby condemn
13 for public purpose being the improvement of Geyer Springs
14 Road the following parcel of real property lying in the City
15 of Little,Ro.ck, County of Pulaski, State of Arkansas,
16 to -wit:

18 Acquisition
19 A parcel of land in Little Rock, Pulaski County,
20 Arkansas, being Part of Lo.t 2 -R, Rowell Subdivision,
21 more particularly described as:

23 Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 2 -R, Rowell
24 Subdivision, said point being on the East right of way
25 of Geyer .Sp rings Road; thence S 87° 52' E on the North
26 line of said Lot 2- R,,3.65 feet; thence S 000 17' W,
27 42.02 feet; thence S 02° 08' W, 81.34 feet to the South
28 line of Lot 2 -R, thence N 87° 52' W on said South line
29 5.00 feet to the East right of way line of Geyer
30 Springs Road; thence N, 02° 08' E on said East right of
31 way line, 123.34 feet to the point of beginning,

Subdivision, said point being on the East right of way
of Geyer, Springs Road; thence S 87° 52' E on the North
line of said Lot 2- R,.3.65 feet to the point of
beginning, thence continuing on said line, S 87° 52' E,
5.00 feet; thence S 00° 17' W, 42.04 feet; thence S 02°
80' W, 81.36 feet to the South Line of said Lot 2 -R,
thence N 87° 52' W on said South Line, 5.00 feet;
thence N 02° 08' E, 81.34 feet; thence N 000 17' E,
42.02 feet to the point of beginning, containing 617
square feet.
SECTION 2. The City of Little Rock hereby
declares that the above described parcel of land is needed
for public purpose as aforesaid and that it desires to
acquire fee simple title to said parcel which is presently
owned by Michael:.L. Cruse and the City Attorney is hereby
authorized and directed to file, in the proper court,
proceedings under the City's power of eminent domain for the
condemnation of said parcel and to secure an order said
court permitting the City to take possession of said
property and to do any and all other things necessary in
order to.obtain.immediate possession of said property.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
