AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $45,245.53 FOR THREE
PLAINTIFFS IN THE GILBERT MATTER FROM THE
UNAPPROPRIATED BALANCE OF THE CITY'S GENERAL
FUND.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated the sum of
$45,245.53 from the unappropriated balance of the City's General
Fund for payment of the Court ordered amounts in the Gilbert v.
City of Little Rock matter. Payments will be made in accordance
to the Court Order.

ORDER
The parties having agreed as to the award of back pay for
three of the four named Plaintiffs herein, and the Court having
been advised of all the pertinent facts and law,
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the City of Little Rock pay to
the estate of Johnnie Gilbert the sum of $12,196.85 in full
satisfaction of his claim of back pay in this action;
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the City of Li-ttle Rook pay to
Andrew Lockhart and Billy O'Donald the sums of $20,472.84 and
$12,575.84, respectively, in full satisfaction of their claims of
back pay in this action; and to effect full monetary relief in
accordance with the directive of the Court of Appeals for the
Eighth Circuit,
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the City of Little Rock raise
Andrew Lockhart and Billy O'Donald to the maximum allowable rate
of pay for the rank of sergeant retroactive to April 1, 1987.
