15276ORDINANCE NO. 15,276 N 0) N vi AN ORDIANCE VACATING AND CLOSING A_ Portion of West 23rd STREET BETWEEN Gilman_ and Potter 4 STREETS IN Pinehill ADDITION TO �A THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS O A U1 WHEREAS, it has been determined that A Portion West 23rd Street between Gilman and Potter Streets between Lots 10 and 11 of Pinehill Addition to m v the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, as designated on the plat of said Addition v now appearing of record in Deed Book 292, Page 319 in the Office of the a Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, is no longer needed for corporate purposes, except for public utility and drainage easement purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. Except as stated in Section 2 below, the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the public generally, in and to the street designated as follows: A part of the existing right -of -way of West 23rd Street lying between Lots 10 and 11, Pinehill Subdivision, Little Rock, Arkansas being more particullarly described as follows: Commencing at a found iron pin for the northeast corner of said Lot 11; thence S 88% 58' 03" W, 15.5 feet along the North line of said Lot 11 to the Point of Beginning; thence N 0% 34' 58" W, 50.0 feet to the South line of said Lot 10; thence S 88% 58' 03" W, along said South line, 104.79 feet to a point on a 50 foot radius curve, said curve being concave to the west; thence south along the arc of said curve 52.35 feet to the North line of said Lot 11, said curve having a chord bearing and distance of S O1% 02' 05" E, 50.0 feet; thence N 80% 58' 03" E, along said North line, 104.40 feet to the Point of Beginning, containing 5002.4 square feet more or less. SECTION 2. Abutting owners of record, receiving title to the abandoned right -of -way and easement shall at their cost remove all vestiges of public use and access as may exist; such modifications shall include, but are not limited to the following: A. The entrances on both ends of the abandoned right -of -way and easement shall be offset and /or rebuilt to conform to the standard driveway design as required by Ordinance No. 12,501. 209 R- io B. The edge of Dement of the right -of -way sha4Pbe rebuilt to conform 210 to existing conditions in the general vicinity where the abandoned right -of -way and easement intersects with the remaining public right - of -way. SECTION 3. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the City Clerk, shall be filed in the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County and recorded in the records of the County. SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and approval.
