3 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 13,358
4 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK PERTAINING TO
5 LICENSE AND PRIVILEGE TAXES.

8 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
9 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
10 SECTION 1. The language in Section 21 -13.1 Schedule of
11 License Taxes, Subparagraph (14) Amusements (h) shall be amended
12 to read as follows:
13 (h) City Convention Centers:
14 Shows and exhibitions, including
15 but not limited to seminars, special
16 sales, musical concerts or activities,
17 athletic events or carnivals, by any
18 group, organization or company sponsoring
19 a function including but not limited to
20 public attended, profit- making, ticketed
21 function will in City Convention
22 Centers be subject to the following
23 charge:
24 (1) Music hall rental
25 BASE VARIABLE
26 $100.00 first day
27 $50.00 each day
28 thereafter
29 (2) Exhibition space rental
30 BASE VARIABLE
31 1/24 per sq.ft. gross
32 space occupied first
33 day $25.00 minimum.
34 1/44 per sq.ft. gross
35 space occupied each

2 $12.50 minimum.
3 (3) For shows and exhibitions,
4 etc. staged in the City
5 Convention Centers by any
6 non - profit organizations which
7 provide an IRS non - profit
8 charter number, or other
9 sufficient evidence of
10 non - profit status

12 No charge
13 (h.1) Locations Outside City
14 Convention Centers:
15 Shows or exhibitions, including but
16 not limited to seminars, special sales,
17 musical concerts or activities, athletic
18 events or carnivals, by any group,
19 organization or company sponsoring a
20 function including but not limited to
21 public attended, profit- making, ticketed
22 function will be subject to the following
23 charge:
24 BASE VARIABLE
25 $100 per day
26 SECTION 2. Section 21.13.1 Schedule of License, Taxes,
27 subparagraph (86) Directories shall be amended to read as follows:

29 Printing and distribution
30 BASE VARIABLE
31 $300 plus $15.00
32 per employee
33 SECTION 3. Section 21.13.1 Schedule of License Taxes shall
34 be amended by adding the following categories and taxes.

SECTION 4. All laws or parts of laws in conflict therewith
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect thirty days after its passage.
