WEST DISTRICT LAND USE PLAN AS THE GUIDE

FOR FUTURE LAND USE DECISIONS IN THE'
DISTRICT AND OTHER ISSUES. '
WHEREAS, the Office of Comprehensive Planning studied

the land use patterns and issues in the Geyer Springs West
District and developed a land use plan and text to guide

future land use decisions in the district; and

WHEREAS, staff examined the park and open space needs
in the area for additional space; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed the plan and
after a public hearing recommended adoption of the plan; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors recognizes the need for
comprehensive plans for each planning district to provide
for proper growth and stability of neighborhoods.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The Plan is hereby amended to:
(a) change the LMF area at the south end of Susanne Drive to
SF (Single Family); and (b) change the MF area on Geyer
Springs Road across from McClellan High School to LMF (Low
Density Multi- Family).
SECTION 2. The Geyer Springs West District Land Use
Plan, as amended, is hereby adopted.
SECTION 3. Staff is instructed to make necessary
amendments to the Little Rock Master Parks Plan to address
the needs identified in the Geyer Springs West District
Plan.
