AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 4 -101
OF CHAPTER 43 OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES, BEING THE ZONING
ORDINANCE AMENDMENT PROVISIONS,
RELATING TO DEDICATIONS AND
CONDITIONS UPON REZONING OF LAND.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That Subsection (e) of Section 4 -101 of Chapter
43 of the Code of Ordinances, being the Zoning Ordinance of the
City of Little Rock, enacted January 1, 1980, as amended, is
hereby amended by adding thereto a new paragraph 4 reading as
follows:
4. The Board of Directors may require, as
a condition of rezoning, the reasonable
dedication of land for public street or
floodway purposes, based upon the land use
or master plan elements currently in
effect at the time of said rezoning, or
may require other conditions necessary to
protect and promote the health, safety and
welfare of its citizens.
SECTION 2. All prior ordinances or parts of ordinances,
inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent
of their inconsistency with this ordinance.
