ORDINANCE NO. 15,496
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 14,969 PASSED OCTOBER 15, 1986, which
closed the North /South alley in Cherry's Subdivision of Block 341, Original
City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the north -south
alley in Cherry's Subdivision of Block 341, Original City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, as designated on the plat of said
Addition now appearing of record in Plat Book 1, Page 60 in the
Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, is no
longer needed for corporate purposes, and was closed by Ordinance
14,969.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14,969 contains language allowing the
reservation of the former alley right -of -way in its entirety as a
public utility and drainage easement, and no utilities are presently
located in said former right -of -way and any easements needed by the
respective utility companies before the property can be subdivided,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The words "except for public utility and drainage
easement purposes" shall be deleted from the first paragraph of
Ordinance No. 14,969.
Section 2. "Section 2" in Ordinance 14,969 shall be deleted
in its entirety.
Section 3. All other provisions of Ordinance No 14,969 shall
remain in full force and effect.
Section 4. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the City
Clerk, shall be filed in the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County
and recorded in the records of the County.
