AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE
NO. 14,692 AND REVOKING A "PRD"
DISTRICT TITLED PLANTATION HOUSE
IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14,692 was passed on July 3,
1984; and
WHEREAS, the Ordinance changed the zone classification
from "R -2" Single Family to "PRD" on the following described
property:
Part of the E 1/2, E 1/2, NW 1/4, NE 1/4, Section 2,
T -1 -N, R -13 -W, Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
more particularly described as follows: Commencing at
the NE corner of the E 1/2, E 1/2, NW 1/4, NE 1/4;
thence S 00° 46' W, 684.72 feet along the East line of
said E 1/2, E 1/2, 1,TW 1/4, NE 1/4 to the point of
beginning; thence continue S 00° 46' W, 556.0 feet to
the North right -of -way of West Markham Street; thence
S 890 09' W and along said North right -of -way of West
Markham Street; thence N 000 46' E, 200.0 feet; thence
S 890 09' W, 181.2 feet to the SE corner of Lot 4,
Kaylin Hills Addition; thence N 00° 13' E and along the
East line of said Lot 4, 361.2 feet; thence S 89° 34'
E, 234.57 feet to the point of beginning containing
2.15 acres more or less; and
WHEREAS, the ordinance was to have taken effect upon
final approval of the plan by the Little Rock Planning
Commission; and
WHEREAS, the owner has not submitted a final
development plan /plat within the prescribed time; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission by resolution on
April 19, 1988 (attached as Exhibit A), recommended that the
above described Property be reclassified and that the "PRD"
classification be revoked.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION • That Ordinance No. 14,692 is hereby 20 4
repealed.
SECTION 2. That the preliminary site development
plan /plat approved by Ordinance No. 14,692 is hereby
revoked.
SECTION 3. That the "PRD" District classification of
the below listed property is revoked and the former "R -2"
Single Family classification is restored on the official
zoning map:
Part of the E 1/2, E 1/2, NW 1/4, NE 1/4, Section 2,
T -1 -N, R -13 -W, Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
more particularly described as follows: Commence at
the NE corner of the E 1/2, E 1/2, NW 1/4, NE 1/4;
thence S 000 46' W, 684.72 feet along East line of said
E 1/2, E 1/2, NW 1/4, NE 1/4 to the point of beginning;
thence continue S 00° 46' W, 556.0 feet to the North
right -of -way of West Markham Street; thence S 89° 09' W
and along said North right -of -way of West Markham
Street; thence N 000 46' E, 200.0 feet; thence S 89°
09' W, 181.2 feet to the SE corner of Lot 4, Kaylin
Hills Addition; thence N 000 13' E and along the East
line of said Lot 4, 361.2 feet; thence S 890 34' E,
234.57 feet to the point of beginning containing 2.15
acres more or less. (West Markham Street - Z- 4229 -A).
