AMENDMENT TO THE UPPER ROCK CREEK AND
EXTRATERRITORIAL LAND USE PLANS, TO CHANGE
LAND USE CLASSIFICATIONS IN THE AREA NORTH OF
ROCK CREEK, EAST OF THE CHENAL PARKWAY, WEST
OF THE CITY LIMITS AND SOUTH OF THE PROPOSED
WEST LOOP; AND OTHER MATTERS
WHEREAS, after a public hearing, the Planning
Commission and Board of Directors expressed a desire to
amend the land use plans to conform with a zoning case they
were approving; and
WHEREAS, after a public hearing, the Planning
Commission recommends the amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK.
SECTION 1. That the Upper Rock Creek and
Extraterritorial Land Use Plans are amended to round
out the node of commercial at Kanis /Chenal Parkway on
both plans, changing an area of office use to
commercial use.
SECTION _2. That the Upper Rock Creek and
Extraterritorial Land Use Plans are amended to change a
single family use area to a commercial use area at the
southeast corner of the West Loop and a proposed new
north /south arterial.
SECTION 3. That the Upper Rock Creek and
Extraterritorial Land Use Plans are amended to change a
single family use area to a multi - family use area in an
area north of the Kanis /Chenal Parkway commercial node,
west of the new arterial and south of an east /west
collector.
