AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE RENEWAL.OF A THREE -YEAR
TAXICAB OPERATOR PERMIT FOR DEWEY WORTHEY.

WHEREAS, in January of this year the Board of Directors
renewed the Taxicab Operator Permits, without a recommendation to
renew the permit for Dewey Worthey because of pending legal
legal questions concerning Mr. Worthey's application; and
WHEREAS, these questions have now been resolved to the
satisfaction of staff.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock hereby renews the taxicab operator permit for Dewey Worthey
from January 1, 1989 to December 31, 1991.
SECTION 2: This taxicab operator permit shall
automatically expire at midnight, December 31, 1991.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
