AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 14,894 AND
AND REVOKING A PORTION OF A "PRO" DISTRICT TITLED
ALDERSGATE /KANIS APARTMENTS LONG -FORM "PRO" (Z -4403)
IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, ORDINANCE NO. 14,894 WAS PASSED ON JUNE 4,
1985, AND
WHEREAS, THE ORDINANCE CHANGED THE ZONE CLASSIFICATION
FROM "0 -3" TO "PRO" ON THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PROPERTY:
Part of the NW 1/4, NW 1/4 of Section 10, T -1 -N,
R -13 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas more particularly
described as follows;
Beginning at the southeast corner of said NW 1/4 of
Section 10, T -1 -N, R -13 -W, run thence north 88 041' west
for 165.7 feet to a point on the east right -of -way line
of Interstate Highway No. 430; thence along said east
right -of -way north 15030119" east for 121.65 feet;
thence continuing on said right -of -way north 01032'20"
west for 113.2 feet; thence north 89 024' east for
148.95 feet to the east line of the NW 1/4, NW 1/4 of
Section 10, being also in the center of Aldersgate
Road; thence running south 03 007' west for 236.1 feet
to the Point of Beginning and containing 0.8 acres,
more or less; and
WHEREAS, THE ORDINANCE WAS TO HAVE TAKEN EFFECT UPON
FINAL APPROVAL OF THE PLAN BY THE LITTLE ROCK PLANNING
COMMISSION, AND
WHEREAS, THE OWNER HAS NOT SUBMITTED A FINAL
DEVELOPMENT PLAN /PLAT WITHIN THE PRESCRIBED TIME, AND
WHEREAS, THE PLANNING COMMISSION, BY RESOLUTION ON
DECEMBER 13, 1988 (ATTACHED AS EXHIBIT A) RECOMMENDED THAT
THE ABOVE DESCRIBED PROPERTY BE RECLASSIFIED AND THAT THE
"PRO" CLASSIFICATION BE REVOKED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 14,894 is hereby
repealed.
SECTION 2. That the preliminary site plan /plat
approved by Ordinance No. 14,894 is hereby revoked.

SECTION 4. That Section 36 of the Code of Ordinance of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas is hereby amended by
amending the map referred to in that section to the extent
that the Aldersgate /Kanis Apartments "PRD" District is
hereby amended to comply with the ordinance repealing
Ordinance No. 14,894 and that section is hereby designated
as "0 -3" General Office zoning.
