AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 32 -377 OF THE
LITTLE ROCK CITY CODE, 1988, PROHIBITING THE
PARKING OF COMMON CARRIERS ON CITY STREETS.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: Section 32 -377 of the Little Rock City Code,
1988, is hereby amended by substituting in its entirety
the following language:
No person shall park a truck tractor and /or
semi - trailer, including what is commonly
referred to as 18- wheeler truck tractors and /or
semi - trailers, on any city residential street
at any time. No person shall use any residential
street for the purpose of repairing or reconditioning
any such truck tractor and /or semi - trailer or any
part thereof, except when such repairs shall be
necessitated by an emergency.
SECTION 2: Any person convicted of a violation of the
provisions of this ordinance shall be punished as provided in
Section 1 -9 of the Little Rock City Code.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
SECTION 4: All laws and parts of laws which are
inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent
of such inconsistency.
