3 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 32- 342(b) AND
4 32- 342(c) OR THE 1988 LITTLE ROCK CODE OF
5 ORDINANCES, PROVIDING FOR PERMITS FOR CURB
6 LOADING ZONES AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 NON, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
9 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:

11 SECTION 1. Section 32 -342 (b) of the 1988 Little Rock City
12 Code is hereby amended to read as follows:

(b) Any person desiring passenger loading or
15
unloading zones may make application in writing
16
to the traffic engineer and pay to the City
17 four hundred dollars ($400.00) per year for one
18
(1) metered space of twenty -two (22) feet.

20 SECTION 2. Section 32 -342 (c) of the 1988 Little Rock City
21
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:

(c) In the event the request is for a loading zone
24
outside of the parking meter district then such
25
person making the request shall pay to the City
26
an annual fee of four dollars ($4.00) per foot
27
or two hundred twenty dollars ($220.00) for a
28
29 space of twenty -two (22) feet per year for the
30 purpose of covering the expense of the City in
31 painting, designating with appropriate signs,
32 and otherwise maintaining said limited parking,
33 or unloading zones. Such payment shall be made
34 to the city on or before July 1 of each year.

SECTION 3. All other provisions of Section 32 -342 of Chapter
32 of the Code of Ordinances not in conflict herewith shall remain
in full force and effect.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall become effective January 1,
1990•
