AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
APPROPRIATE UP TO $10,000 FROM THE UNAPPROPRIATED
FUND BALANCE OF THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FUND FOR
STREET IMPROVEMENTS TO SOUTH WOODROW STREET FROM

WHEREAS, Woodrow Street south of Roosevelt Road provides
access to five industrial sites and currently the condition of the
roadway is substandard and contains potholes and loose rock; and
WHEREAS, located at 33rd and Woodrow Street is the site of
the former Laird Church Furniture Plant, soon to become the site
of Seal -Dry, Inc., a manufacturer of waterproof membranes for
roofing contractors; and
WHEREAS, in order to provide adquate access to this and
other sites it is necessary to make improvements to Woodrow
Street.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: There is hereby appropriated the sum of $10,000
from the unappropriated fund balance of the Economic Development
Fund for street improvements to Woodrow Street from Roosevelt Road
south to 33rd Street.
SECTION 2: Said appropriation is expressly conditioned
upon the successful closing of all bond financing as deemed
satisfactory by the City Manager.
