AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE GEYER SPRINGS
EAST LAND USE PLAN GENERALLY IN AN AREA
SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 30 TO BASELINE ROAD
AND EAST OF DOYLE SPRINGS ROAD TO JAMISON
ROAD, AND OTHER MATTERS
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission believes the existing
Land Use Plan is in need of updating; and
WHEREAS, after study by Staff and review, a public
hearing, the Planning Commission recommends amending the
plan in the area surrounding Scott Hamilton Drive.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The Geyer Springs East Land Use Plan is
amended from Industrial to Commercial at the southwest
corner of Interstate 30 and Scott Hamilton Road.
SECTION 2. The Geyer Springs East Land Use Plan is
amended from Mixed Density Residential and Single Family to
Commercial at the southeast corner of Baseline and Hilaro
Springs Road.

SECTION 3. The Geyer Springs East Land Use Plan is
amended from Single Family to Office and Commercial along
the east side of Scott Hamilton south of Avery for a half
block with "OS" east of commercial lots.
SECTION 4. The Geyer Springs East Land Use Plan is
amended from Commercial to Mixed Density Residential at the
southeast corner of Community Road and Christen Drive.
SECTION 5. The Geyer Springs East Land Use Plan is
amended from Single Family to Commercial at the northwest
corner of Scott Hamilton and Christen Drive.
SECTION 6. The Geyer Springs East Land Use Plan is
amended from Single Family to Mixed Density Residential from
west of Community Road to east of Scott Hamilton Road.
SECTION 7. The Geyer Springs East Land Use Plan is
amended from Single Family to Mixed Density Residential east
of Jamison and parallel to an existing public use area.
SECTION 8. The Geyer Springs East Land Use Plan is
amended from Industrial to Public Use for the Metropolitan
Vo -Tech High School site.
SECTION 9. The Geyer Springs East Land Use Plan is
amended from Single Family to Mixed Density Residential
north of Coffer Lane and west of Auxor to the proposed
commercial at the southwest corner of Baseline and Hilaro
Springs Road.

SECTION 10. The Geyer Springs East Land Use Plan is
amended from Industrial to Open Space for a 200 foot strip
along the back line of lots facing Orchard Drive and north
of a line which is the extension of the back line of
property on the south side of Community Lane.
