AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR
PARTICIPATION IN THE CONSTRUCTION COSTS
OF BOWMAN ROAD FROM MARKHAM STREET TO
MARA LYNN DRIVE.
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock recognizes the importance of the construction of Bowman Road
from Mara Lynn to Markham Drive; and
WHEREAS, the construction of the Bowman Road extension
will decrease traffic growth on Shackleford Road; and
WHEREAS, completion of the Bowman Road extension is
advantageous in the staging, construction, and development of
traffic control signals on the Markham Street Widening Project.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated as the City of
Little Rock's participation in twenty -five (258) percent of the
construction costs of the Bowman Road extension, an amount not to
exceed $225,000.00.
