AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $120,000 FROM THE
UNENCUMBERED BALANCE OF THE GENERAL FUND FOR
THE PURPOSE OF RETAINING A CONSULTANT FOR THE
EXTRATERRITORIAL LAND USE PLAN AND ANNEXATION
STUDY.
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Board of Directors and Planning Commission
have determined that the City should embark on a Land Use Plan and
Annexation Study for the City's potential growth areas.
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors recognizes that the City's staff
does not have the manpower to do a study of this magnitude.
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock
Arkansas hereby appropriates $120,000 from the unencumbered General Fund
for the purpose of retaining a consultant to prepare an Extraterritorial
Land Use Plan and Annexation Study.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage.
