AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MASTER STREET PLAN
FOR THE FURTHER REFINEMENT AND CLARIFICATION
OF THE CHICOT- UNIVERSITY INTERCHANGE.
WHEREAS, the Chicot- University intersection is a traffic
hazard; and
WHEREAS, it has been demonstrated that the traffic flow at the

intersection of Chicot Road and University Avenue must be improved; and
WHEREAS, Pulaski Area Transportation Study (PATS) has recommended
a realignment of the Chicot- University intersection; and
WHEREAS, the suggested realignment has been approved by the
Planning Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Master Street Plan is hereby amended to include
the corridor realignment of the Chicot - Univesity intersection.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
