AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND CLOSING
ALLEY IN BLOCK 112 OF ORIGINAL
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS

,WHEREAS, it has been determined that the alley in Block 112
of Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas, as designated on the plat
of said Addition now appearing of record in Deed Book L, Page 332,
488 and 490, in the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas,
is no longer needed for corporate purposes, except for public utility
and drainage easement purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Except as stated in Section 2 below, the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases, vacates and abandons all
its rights, together with the rights of the public generally, in and
to the alley designated as.follows:
A 20 foot alley located in Block 112, Original City of Little
Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas and lying adjacent to Lots 5,6,7 and
8,said Block 112,more particularly described as follows:
Startinq at the Southeast corner of said Block 112, Original
City of Little Rock; thence North 80051'15" West along the South
line of said Block 112 a distance of 140.00 feet to the Point of
Beginning, said point also being the Southwest corner of said Lot 7,
Block 112; thence continuing North 80051'15" West along said South
line 19.98 feet to the Southeast corner of said Lot 6, Block 112;
thence North 9025115" East 100.89 to the Northeast corner of said
Lot 5, Block 112; thence South 80042113" East 19.79 feet to the
Northwest corner of said Lot 8,Block 112; thence South 9018'55"
West 100.84 feet to the Point of Beginning containing 2006 square
feet or 0.046 acres, more or less.
SECTION 2. The City specifically retains the right to use,
and allow others to use, the former alley right -of -way in its entirety
as a public utility and drainage easement.
SECTION 3. Abutting owners of record, receiving title to the
abandoned right -of -way and easement shall at their cost remove all
vestiges of public use and access as may exist; such modifications
shall include; but are not limited to the following:
A. The entrances on both ends of the abandoned right -of -way
and easement shall be offset and /or rebuilt to conform
to the standard driveway design as required by Ordinance
No. 12,501.
B. The edge of pavement of the right -of -way shall be rebuilt
to conform to existing conditions in the general vicinity
where the abandoned right -of -way and easement intersects
with the remaining public right -of -way.

SECTION 4. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the
City Clerk, shall be filed in the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski
County and recorded in the records of the County.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.
