AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING VARIOUS
PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, AMENDING SECTION 43 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That the zone classification of the
following properties be and are hereby changed as indicated:
A. Z -4571 - described as: The West 50 feet of Lots 7, 8
and 9, Block 140, Original City of Little Rock, Pulaski
County, Arkansas, from "C -4" Open Display to "C -3"
General Commercial (810 West Second Street).
B. Z -4574 - described as: Part of the NE 1/4, NE 1/4,
9 ticon 3, T -1 -S, R -13 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
lying North and West of Arkansas State Highway
Commission right -of -way being more particularly
described as follows: commence at the NW corner of
said NE 1/4, NE 1/4; thence S O1° 33' W and along the
West line of said NE 1/4, NE 1/4 116.1 feet to the
point of beginning; thence continue S O10 33' W and
along the West line of said NE 1/4, NE 1/4, 363.4 feet
to the North line of Arkansas State Highway Commission
right -of -way (Interstate 30); thence N 66° 04' E and
along said North line of Arkansas State Highway
Commission right -of -way 135.8 feet to the West line of
Arkansas State Highway Commission right -of -way; thence
N 200 21' W and along said West line of Arkansas State
Highway Commission right -of -way 328.27 feet to the
point of beginning containing 0.5112 acres, more or
less, from "R -2" Single Family to "C -4" Open Display
(10400 I -30).
C. Z -4577 - described as: A part of Sections 8 and 9,
T -1 -N, R -11 -W, Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
more particularly described as follows: beginning at a
point 236.9 feet West of the common corner of Sections
8, 9, 16, 17; thence West on the South line of Section
8, 3,117.7 feet; thence N 14° E, 767.6 feet; thence
N 24° E, 863.3 feet; thence S 89° E, 171.3 feet; thence
N 89° E, 2,255.8 feet to the NW corner of Lot 14,
Cherry Acres; thence South 776.5 feet; thence N 89° E,

557.6 feet to the SE corner of Lot 13, Cherry Acres and
the West line of Fourche Dam Pike; thence South on West
line of Fourche Dam Pike 304.9 feet to the North line
of the levee right -of -way; thence S 31° W on
right -of -way 340.9 feet to the East line of Section 8;
thence S 500 W on right -of -way 306.8 feet to the point
of beginning containing 105.4 acres, more or less.
Less and except a tract of land situated in the S 1/2
of Section 8, T -1 -N, R -11 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
as more particularly described as follows: commencing
at a metal post at the center of said Section 8; thence
S 030 20' 10" W along the centerline of Section 8 for a
distance of 1,118.82 feet to an axle and being a point
of beginning; thence continuing S 03° 20' 10" W along
the centerline of Section 8 for a distance of 9.27 feet
to the South right -of -way of Fourche Dam Pike; thence
S 880 28' 33" E along the South right -of -way of Fourche
Dam Pike 758.91 feet; thence S 46° 30' 52" W, 1,604.02
feet; thence S 02° 26' 47" W, 387.68 feet to the South
line of Section 8 also being the North line of Rose
Meadows Subdivision; thence N 87° 56' 41" W along the
South line of Section 8 for a distance of 320.67 feet
to an iron pin; thence N 150 55' 45" E, 665.66 feet to
an iron pin; thence N 240 50' 46" E, 860.20 feet to an
iron pin; thence S 87° 24' 39" E, 171.30 feet to the
point of beginning the tract of land containing 18.18
acres, more or less. Basis of bearings is the
centerline of the proposed runway 4R -22L having a
bearing of S 460 30' 52" W to derived from coast and
geodetic surv?" datum. Area of rezoning containing
87.2 acres from "R -2" Single Family to "I -1" Industrial
Park and "OS" Open Space (Fourche Dam Pike).
SECTION 2. That the map referred to in Section 43 of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock and
designated district map be and is hereby amended to the
extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate
the changes provided for in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. That the ordinance shall take effect and be
in full force from and after its passage and approval.
