AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 14,767 WHICH PROVIDES FOR LEVYING ADDITIONAL
PRIVILEGE FEE TO BE PAID BY ARKANSAS LOUISIANA
GAS COMPANY FOR THE YEAR 1985; PROVIDING FOR THE
PAYMENT THEREOF.
WHEREAS, the City franchise rate of 5.28 of the gross
revenues as paid to Arkansas Louisiana Gas Company during the
calendar year 1985 by industrial, residential and commercial
customers located within the corporate limits of the City of
Little Rock are not expected to provide the sum of Two Million,
Nine Hundred Ninety -five Thousand Dollars ($2,995,000.00).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That portion of Section 1 of Ordinance No.
14,767 is hereby amended to read as follows:
"For the year 1985, the Gas Company
shall pay in equal monthly installments
beginning January 1985, the sum of Two
Million, Six Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars
($2,650,000.00) or an amount equal to five
and two - tenths percent (5.28) of the Gas
Company's gross revenues as paid to it during
the calendar year 1985 by industrial,
residential and commercial customers located
within the corporate limits of the City of
Little Rock, whichever is greater.
