AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF
ORDINANCE NO. 14,665 VACATING AND
CLOSING EAST 7TH STREET SOUTH OF
LOT 8, BLOCK 1 AND NICHOLS AVENUE
EAST OF BLOCK 1 IN THE OIL MILL
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, passed Ordinance No. 14,665 on
May 15, 1984, with general utility easement rights;
WHEREAS, it has been determined that a Little Rock
Water Works water main lies within the abandoned
right -of -way of East 7th Street as described and designated
on the plat of Oil Mill Addition to the City of Little Rock;
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend Section 1 of
Ordinance No. 14,665 for the purpose of including a
restriction to maintain a specific easement for utility
purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 14,665 is hereby amended to
provide for the inclusion of the following easement rights:
The right -of -way of East 7th Street as described within
the said Ordinance shall be retained in its entirety as
a public utility and /or drainage easement.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.
