ORDINANCE NO. 14,689
AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND CLOSING GARFIELD
STREET BETWEEN "I" AND "J" STREETS, IN
PLEASANT HILL ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, it has been determined that Garfield Street between "I"
and "J" Streets, in Block 10, Pleasant Hill Addition to the City of
Little, as designated on the plat of said Addition now appearing of
record in Deed Book 661, Page 246 in the office of the Recorder of
Pulaski County, Arkansas is no longer needed for corporate purposes,
except for public utility and drainage easement purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases,
vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the
public generally, in and to the street designated as follows:
Garfield Street between "I" Street and "J" Street, Pleasant Hill
Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, subject, however, to
retention of the right -of -way for public utility or drainage easements
located in said street.
SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the City
Clerk, shall be filed in the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County
and recorded in the records of the County.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage and approval.
