AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND CLOSING that part of
20 foot road R -O -W, north of Rock Creek Parkway
and at west boundary Hillvale Addition 500 feet
east of Parkway Place Drive: ana ueclaring an
Emergency
WHEREAS, it has been determined that that part of a 20 foot
road right -of -way platted along the West boundary of Hillvale
Addition (Plat Book 4, Page 38) and more particularly described
as follows:
Beginning at the NW corner of said Hillvale Addition; thence
South 87 °44'23" East along the North line of said Hillvale
Addition 20.00 feet to the NW corner of Tract 4, Hillvale
Addition; thence South 00 059110" West along the West line of
Tract 4 and 5 a distance of 972.18 feet to the SW corner of Tract
5, Hillvale Addition; thence North 83 051135" West along the North
line of a Little Rock Water Works easement 20.04 feet to a point
on the West line of Hillvale Addition; thence North 00 059110"
East along said West line 970.65 feet to the point of beginning
containing 0.446 acres, more or less in the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, as designated on the plat of said Addition now
appearing of record in Deed Book 4 , Page 38 , in
the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, is no
longer needed for corporate purposes, except for public utility
and drainage easement purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby
releases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the
rights of the public generally, in and to the street desginated
as follows:
Part of a 20 foot road right -of -way platted along the West boun-
dary of Hillvale Addition (Plat Book 4, Page 38) and more par-
ticularly described as follows:
Beginning at the NW corner of said Hillvale Addition; thence
South 87 044123" East along the North line of said Hillvale
Addition 20.00 feet to the NW corner of Tract 4, Hillvale
Addition; thence South 00 °59'10" West along the West line of
Tract 4 and 5 a distance of 972.18 feet to the SW corner of Tract
5, Hillvale Addition; thence North 83 051135" West along the North
line of a Little Rock Water Works easement 20.04 feet to a point
on the West line of Hillvale Addition; thence North 00 059'10"
East along said West line 970.65 feet to the point of beginning
containing 0.446 acres, more or less
subject, however, to any public utility or drainage easements
located in said street.

SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the
City Clerk, shall be filed in the Office of the Recorder of
Pulaski County and recorded in the records of the County.
SECTION 3. Emergency. It is hereby found and determined
that there is an immediate and urgent need to close said road
right -of -way, which closure is necessary for the preservation of
the public peace, health and safety. Therefore an emergency is
declared to exist and this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
