WHEREAS, it has been determined that

Part of a 30 foot Right -of -Way as dedicated on the replat of
Roosevelt Park Addition shown as 12th Street, all in the
Northeast 1/4 of Section 9, T -1 -N, R -13 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas
more particularly described as follows:
Starting at the Northeast corner of said Section 9, T -1 -N,
R -13 -W, thence North 87 010110" West along the North line of said
Section 9 a distance of 518.54 feet to a point on the Southerly
Right -of -Way line of Kanis Road, said Point being the point of
beginning; thence Southeasterly along said Southerly Right -of -Way
line to a point on the North line of Block 16, said Roosevelt
Park Addition; thence North 87 010110" West along the North line
of Blocks 16, 17, 32, 33 & 48 Roosevelt Park Addition, (said
North line being 30 feet South of and parallel to the North line
of said Section 9) to a point on the Southerly Right -of -Way line
of Kanis Road; thence Northeasterly along said Southerly
Right -of -Way line to a point on the North line of said Section 9;
thence South 87 °10110" East along said North line 1225.0 feet to
the point of beginning.
Arkansas, as designated on the plat of said Addition now
appearing of record in Deed Book 1 , Page 49 , in
the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, is no
longer needed for corporate purposes, except for public utility
and drainage easement purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby
releases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the
rights of the public generally, in and to the street desginated
as follows:

more particularly described as follows:

Section 9 a distance of 518.54 feet to a point on the Southerly
Right -of -Way line of Kanis Road, said Point being the point of

SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the
City Clerk, shall be filed in the Office of the Recorder of
Pulaski County and recorded in the records of the County.
SECTION 3. Emergency. It is hereby found and determined
that there is an immediate and urgent need to close right -of -way,
which closure is necessary for the preservation of the public
peace, peace, health and safety. Therefore an emergency is
declared to exist and this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
