AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE
ARKANSAS EMERGENCY MEDICAL HEALTH CARE
FACILITIES BOARD; AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY.

SECTION 1. $5,000.00 is hereby appropriated to defray
the costs of operation of ambulance service by the Arkansas
Emergency Medical Health Care Facilities Board.
SECTION 2. DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. The provision of
adequate emergency medical ambulance service is of crucial
importance to the health, safety and welfare of the general
public. Based on the testimony of Dr. Leibovich and others, the
Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock hereby declares
that a legislative emergency exists and that this ordinance
should therefore take effect immediately.
