AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND CLOSING The North
one-half-of Second Street between Gasland
Avenue and Rockefeller Avenue, AND The West
one -half of Gasland Avenue between West
Markham Street and Second Street, IN Ark.
Heights ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the North one -half of Second
Street between Gasland Avenue and Rockefeller Avenue, AND the West one -
half of Gasland Avenue between West Markham Street and Second Street, in
Arkansas Heights Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, as Deed
Book 1, Page 53, in the office of the Recorder of Pualski County, Arkansas,
is no longer needed for corporate purposes, except for public utility and
drainage easement purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases, vacates
and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the public generally,
in and to.the street designated as follows:
The North one -half of Second Street adjacent to the East 10' of Lot 8,
all of Lots 9, 10, 11, and 12 of Block 1, Arkansas Heights Addition being 20'
North and South and 210' East and West, AND the West one -half of Gasland
Avenue adjacent to Lots 1 and 12 of Block 1, the closed alley between Lots 1
and 12 and the North -one -half of West Second Street, Being 20' East and West
and 282.95' North and South and lying between the center of West Second Street
and the South line of West Markham Street, subject, however, to any public
utility or drainage easements located in said street.
SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the City Clerk,
shall be filed in the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County and recorded in
the records of the County.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage and approval.
