AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY
LOCATED IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
AMENDING SECTION 43 OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That the zone classification of the
following property be and is hereby classified to "R -2" as
indicated.
Z -4116 - described as: A tract of land situated in
rctional Section 5, fractional Section 8, fractional
Section 9, the N 1/2 of Section 16, and the N 1/2 of
Section 17, all in T -1 -N, R -11 -W, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, being more particularly described as follows:
all of the SE 1/4, SW 1/4 and the SW 1/4, SE 1/4 of
said fractional 5, lying South of the ordinary high
water line of the inlet of the Arkansas River, which
forms the area commonly known as "Gates Island "; all of
the N 1/2 of Section 8, lying South of the ordinary
high water line of an inlet of the Arkansas River,
which forms the area commonly known as "Gates Island ";
less and except that area previously annexed to the
City of Little Rock under Ordinance #14,109; and all of
the SE 1/4 and the E 1/2 of the SW 1/4 of said
fractional Section 8; all of the S 1/2 of the NW 1/4
and all of the SW 1/4, NE 1/4 of fractional Section 9,
lying South of the ordinary high water line of an inlet
of the Arkansas River, which forms the area commonly
known as "Gates Island "; and all of the SW 1/4 of said
fractional Section 9; and all of the W 1/4 of the
SE 1/4 of said fractional Section 9 not annexed
previously under City of Little Rock Ordinances #12,406
and #13,630; and all of the S 1/2 of the NW 1/4 and the
NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of said Section 16, not previously
annexed under City of Little Rock Ordinances #12,405
and #13,630; and all of the NE 1/4 and the E 1/2 of the
NW 1/4 of said Section 17, lying northerly,
southeasterly and easterly of the Fourche Creek and
Fourche Bayou; less and except those areas annexed
under City of Little Rock Ordinances #11,203 and
#11,713 and property previously zoned "C -1" under
Ordinance #14,528 (East River Island).
SECTION 2. That the map referred to in Section 43 of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock and
designated district may be and is hereby amended to the
extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate
the change provided for in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. That the ordinance shall take effect and be
in full force from and after its passage and approval.
