AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION
OF CERTAIN LANDS TO THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS, AND MAKING SAME A PART
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, a petition was filed with the County Clerk of Pulaski County,
Arkansas, by the owner of the hereinafter described lands, praying that said
lands be annexed to and made a part of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; and,
WHEREAS, on the 13th day of August, 1984, the County Court of Pulaski
County, Arkansas, found that the petition was signed by a majority of the owners
in area and in number of the following described lands located in Pulaski County,
Arkansas; that said lands are contiguous and adjoining the present corporate
limits of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; that an accurate plat or map of
said lands has been filed with and made a part of said petition; that proper
notice had been given for the time and in the manner prescribed by law, and
that all things pertaining thereto had been done in the manner prescribed by
law, and that said lands should be annexed to and made a part of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, subject to the acceptance of same by the Board of Directors
of said City at the proper time as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the time fixed by law for appealing from said order of annexation
made by the County Court has expired and no appeal has been taken from said order;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the following described lands contiguous to and adjoining
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, be, and that same are hereby, accepted as part
of and annexed to and made a part of the City of Little Rock:
The following described area, all lying wholly within Pulaski County,
Arkansas, to -wit: (Bowman Road Annexation)
A part of the Eg of the SW-14, Section 9, T -1 -N, R -13 -W, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at an iron pin marking the Center of said Section 9; thence
S 00001'07" East and along the North and South centerline of said
Section 9 a distance of 2653.43 feet to an iron pin marking the South-
east corner of the said E� of the SW'4, Section 9• thence North 89049'20"
West a distance of 1274.63 feet; thence North 01.`43'09" West a distance
of 353.88 feet; thence South 89029'28" West a distance of 15.15 feet to
the West line of the said E'z of the SW�, Section 9; thence North 00030'32"
West and along the said West line of the E'g of the SW-4, Section 9 a
distance of 2284.06 feet to the Northwest corner of the said Eg of the
SW-14, Section 9; thence North 89028'49" East and along the North line of
the said E� of the SWg, Section 9 a distance of 1319.87 feet to the point
of beginning, containing 3,455,043.48 sq. ft. or 79.317 acres, more or less.

All public rights -of -way adjacent to the above described lands.
Section 2. That the above described lands shall be annexed to and made a
part of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
