AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 14,061
ESTABLISHING ADMISSION FEES FOR THE LITTLE ROCK
ZO0; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:

SECTION 1. Ordinance Number 14,061 is hereby amended to read
as follows:
Section (1) The following admission fees are hereby
established to be charged at the Little Rock Zoo
beginning February 1, 1983:
Adults (Over 13) $1.00
All Children (Over 1 Year) .50
Scheduled Groups (Per Person) .25
Section (2) There will be no admission charge for:
(a) Children under one year of age.
(b) For scheduled groups from educational
institutions located within the State
of Arkansas.
(c) On Saturday mornings from 9:30 a.m. until noon.
(d) During the month of January.
Section (3) The City Manager is hereby authorized to
adjust administratively admission charges in special
circumstances based on policies approved by the Board of
Directors. The City manager is hereby authorized to
develop a bad weather policy allowing free admission on
bad weather days to save collection costs. The City
Manager is also hereby authorized to adjust or eliminate
fees for special promotional days.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
