AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING TWO THOUSAND
DOLLARS ($2,000.00) TO BE USED FOR
MEMBERSHIP IN CENTRAL ARKANSAS PLANNING
AND DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock has in the past
maintained a membership in and paid dues to the Central
Arkansas Planning and Development District; and
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock's membership in
the Central Arkansas Planning and Development District was
dropped in 1982 due to cuts in the City budget; and
WHEREAS, there isnow adequate revenue available
in the budget due to the sales tax to renew the City's
membership in the Central Arkansas Planning and Development
District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. Two thousand Dollars ($2,000.00) are
hereby appropriated from the unappropriated balance of the
General Fund to be used to renew the membership of the City
of Little Rock in the Central Arkansas Planning and
Development District.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval.
