AN ORDINANCE CORRECTING LEGAL DESCRIPTION IN
ORDINANCE NO. 13,518, WHICH CLOSED OHIO STREET
IN BLOCKS 2 AND 3, RIFFEL AND RHOTON'S FOREST
PARK HIGHLANDS ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS; AMENDING SAID ORDINANCE; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13,518, passed October 17, 1978,
which closed Ohio Street in Blocks 2 and 3, Riffel and Rhoton's
Forest Park Highlands Addition to the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, was in error, and
WHEREAS, the petition asking the Board of Directors to close
a portion of Ohio Street was correct and described the portion
to be closed as follows:
A 30 foot right -of -way for Ohio Street, lying south of
and adjacent to Lots 22, 23, and 24 of Block 2; and
lying north of and adjacent to Lots 1, 2, and 3 of
Block 3; all of said lots lying in Riffel & Rhoton's
Forest Park Highlands Addition to the City of Little
Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 13,518 is hereby amended to vacate
and close a portion of Ohio Street designated as follows:
A 30 foot right -of -way for Ohio Street, lying south of
and adjacent to Lots 22, 23, and 24 of Block 2; and
lying north of and adjacent to Lots 1, 2, and 3 of
Block 3; all of said lots lying in Riffel & Rhoton's
Forest Park Highlands Addition to the City of Little
Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas;
subject, however, to any public utility or drainage easements
located in said street.
SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the
City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski
County and recorded in the Deed Records of the County.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
