AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING VARIOUS
PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 43 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That the zone classification of the
folowing properties be and are hereby changed as indicated:
(a) Z -3869 - described as Lot 5, LESS AND EXCEPT the
north and west 50 feet thereof, and Lot 12, LESS
AND EXCEPT the west 50 feet thereof, all in West
Highland Subdivision from "R -2" Single Family
District to 110-2" Office and Institutional
District.
AND
The north and west 50 feet of Lot 5 and the west
50 feet of Lot 12, West Highland Subdivision, from
"R -2" Single Family District, to "OS" Open Space
District.
(b) Z -3875 - described as part of the SW 1/4 of
Section 8, T -1 -S, R -13 -W, in the City of Little
Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, more particularly
described as follows:
Commencing at the southwest corner of Section 8,
T -1 -S, R -13 -W; thence north 89° 21' 54" east,
665.91 feet; thence north 0° 03' 27" west,
1,254.86 feet to the point of beginning; thence
continue north 0° 03' 27" west, 136.9 feet to the
south right -of -way line of U.S. Interstate Highway
#30; thence north 70° 49' 47" east along said
right -of -way line, 242.42 feet; thence north 73°
55' 59" east along said right -of -way line, 443.7
feet; thence south 00 30' east, 328 feet; thence
south 89° 00' 53" west, 658.17 feet to the point
of beginning, from "R -2" Single Family District to
"C -3" General Commercial District.
SECTION 2. That the map referred to in Section 43 of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock and
designated District Map be and it is hereby amended to the
extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate
the changes provided for in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. That the ordinance shall take effect and be
in full force from and after its passage and approval.
