AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AND APPROPRIATING
$25,000 FROM A GRANT SECURED FROM THE
SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:

WHEREAS, the City has secured a grant of $25,000 from the
Small Business Administration for use in improving a part of
Murray Park; and,
WHEREAS, this grant should be accepted and appropriated for
the purposes stipulated by the terms of the grant,
NOW, THEREFORE:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The grant of $25,000 by the Small Business
Administration to the City is hereby accepted.
Section 2. The grant of $25,000 from the Small Business
Administration is hereby appropriated to fund the improvements in
Murray Park as set forth in the attached memorandum.

Accepting Funds from SBA
BOARD ACTION RECOMMENDED: Adopt an ordinance accepting and
appropriating $25,000 from a grant secured from the Small
Business Administration (SBA).
BACKGROUND: The City of Little Rock has received a grant of
$25,000 from the SBA for use in improving a part of Murray
Park. In compliance with detailed SBA requirements, these
funds would be spent with small contractors to stimulate
employment by providing landscaping for a public park.
