AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND CLOSING YORKSHIRE DRIVE AND
A CERTAIN PARCEL OF REAL PROPERTY DESIGNATED AS
"LAWN AREA," IN YORKSHIRE PLACE, AN ADDITION TO
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, it has been determined that Yorkshire Drive, along
with a certain parcel of real property designated as "Lawn
area," in Yorkshire Place, an addition to the City of Little
Rock, as designated on the plat of said addition now appearing
of record in the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County,
Arkansas, is no longer needed for corporate purposes, except for
public utility and drainage easement purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby
releases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the
rights of the public generally, in and to the street and real
property, more fully described as follows:
Lands commencings as follows:
Part of the SW 1/4 of Section 32, Township 2
North, Range 12 West, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, and more fully described as
follows:
Commencing at the SW corner of said Section
32; thence East 1923.50 feet; thence North
882.50 feet to a pipe in the center of the
intersection of Cedar Street and Hill Road;
thence continuing along the centerline of
Cedar Street North 181.20 feet; thence West
27.50 feet to the point of beginning, said
point of beginning being on the West
right -of -way line of Cedar Street and the
South right -of -way line of Yorkshire Drive;
thence continuing along the said
right -of -way of Yorkshire Drive on the
following bearings and distances:
North 890 59' 22" West, 119.70 feet; thence
along a 95.49330 curve to the right 79.59
feet to a point to which there is a cord
bearing and distance of North 51° 59' 41"
West, 73.89 feet; thence along a 95.49330
curve to the right 31.83 feet to a point to
which there is a cord bearing and distance
of North 1° 22' 26" East, 31.45 feet; thence
along a 95.4933° curve to the right 76.86
feet to a point to which there is a cord
bearing a distance of North 530 8' 22" East,
71.71 feet; thence North 891 58' 10" East,

119.98 feet to the West right -of -way line of
Cedar Street; along said West right -of -way
line South 000 5' 25" West, 120.04 feet to
the point of beginning containing 0.46 acres
more or less.
Subject, however, to any public utility or drainage easements
located in said street.
SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the
City Clerk, shall be filed in the Office of the Recorder of
Pulaski County, and recorded in the records of the County.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.
