AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 37 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS, PROVIDING FOR THE PERIODIC
MAINTENANCE OF STREETS IN NEWLY ANNEXED
AREAS THAT RECEIVED PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
BY PULASKI COUNTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That Chapter 37 of the Code of Ordinances of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, being the Subdivision
Ordinance, be amended as follows:
Section 37- 21(b)(10)(d) be amended to add subparagraphs
d(1) and d(2). The current paragraph (d) shall become
the new subparagraph d(1). Add subparagraph d(2) to read
as follows:
Streets which have not been fully maintained
by the County but have received periodic County
maintenance, may receive the same periodic
maintenance by the City upon annexation if an
official of County Operations or Road and Bridge
Department verifies in writing that the County
did conduct periodic maintenance and specifies
the nature of the maintenance.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
