AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 15 -17.1 OF THE
LITTLE ROCK CODE OF ORDINANCES AND THE SCHEDULE
OF FEES THEREIN; TO INCREASE THE FEES FOR
DUMPING IN THE SANITARY LANDFILL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. Little Rock Code §15- 17.1(a) and (b) is amended
to read as follows:
"(a) There are hereby established fees to be
paid for the privilege of dumping trash,
garbage, or other materials in any sanitary
landfill which is now operated, or may hereafter
be operated, by the city. The city manager
shall establish such appropriate procedure or
procedures as may be practicable to collect the
a charges established herein and such rules and
regulations as may be necessary to effectuate
the purpose of this section.
(b) The charges referred to in subsection (a)
hereof shall be as follows:

o (1) Each compacted cubic yard with a
>, minimum of $5.00 per dumping ... $1.50
(2) Each non- compacted cubic yard with a
minimum of $5.00 per dumping ... $1.15
(3) Each cubic yard of tree stumps and /or
tires with a minimum of $25.00 per

Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective
January 1, 1984.
