14303IN ' N v 0 A ra Q) aa) a� v , h ORDINANCE NO. 14,303 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PARTS OF SECTION 1(e), OF ORDINANCE NO. 13,982, APPROVED FEBRUARY 17, 1981, FIXING RATES FOR SERVICES RENDERED BY THE WASTE- WATER UTILITY OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas: :. Section 1. That Section 1, paragraph (e), subparagraphs (1) and (2) of Ordinance No. 13,982 of the City of Little Rock, AR approved February 17, 1981, be and the same hereby is amended to read as follows: (e) The following rates shall be applied to the monthly water consumption of each customer, as above determined, to arrive at the monthly charge for,each customer: (1) Service Availability Ch'ar'ge (for the first 200 cu. ft. of water consumed or fraction thereof) Size of Water Meter Monthly Service Availability Charge Furnishing Water Inside City Limits Outside City Limits 5/8" $ 2.80 $ 4.20 3/4" 5.60 8.40 1" 9.80 14.70 1 1/2" 19.60 29.40 2" 29.40 44.10 3" 58.80 88.20 .4" 98.00 147.00 6" or larger 196.00 294.00 (2) Volumetric Charge (for water consumed in excess of 200 cu. ft. That all Resolutions and Ordinances and parts thereof in.conflict therewith are hereby repealed, provided, however, that all other parts of Ordinance No. 13,9.82 revising the procedure for adjustment of sewer charges and establishing a period of limitation, increasing industrial sewer rates and consolidating and clarifying the existing ordinances fixing rates for all other services rendered by the Wastewater Utility of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas adopted on February 17, 1981 shall in all respects continue in full force and effect. Section 3. That the provisions of this Ordinance are separable, and if a section, provision or phase shall be declared invalid, it shall not affect the validity of the remainder of this Ordinance. Section 4. That it is hereby ascertained and declared that the provisions of this Ordinance are necessary in order to remove a hazard to the health, safety and welfare of the inhabitants of the City and can be obtained only by establishing the sewer charges fixed in this Ordinance. It is therefore, declared that an emergency exists and this Ordinance being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
