AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TEXT OF
CHAPTER 43, SECTION 2 -102 -B OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; DEFINING
CERTAIN TYPES OF LAND USES; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That Chapter 43, Section 2 -102 -B be amended
in the following respects:
A. Paragraph 107 is hereby amended to read:
Institution for Special Education: An educational
institution licensed by the State of Arkansas, whether
private, public or religious which provides special training
or care for children suffering learning•disabilities such as
dyslexia, autism, mental retardation or brain damage.
B. That paragraph 119 is amended to read: School -
Public, Private or Denominational: An educational
institution operated under the auspices of either the Little
Rock School Board or the Pulaski County School Board, or an
educational institution operated by private or religious
agencies which provide elementary or secondary education
comparable to that which is offered by the public schools.
SECTION 2. That the ordinance shall take effect and be
in full force from and after its passage and approval.
