A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
APPOINT BKD, LLP TO PROVIDE CERTIFIED PUBLIC
ACCOUNTING SERVICES TO THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS FOR THE PERIOD 2004 - 2008; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 2 -243 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Little
Rock, the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with BKD, LLP to provide
certified public accounting services to the City of Little Rock for 2004 with a negotiated fee of up to
$217,500.
SECTION 2. Upon a satisfactory completion of the City's 2004 audit, the City Manager is
authorized to renew this contract annually for the years 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008 to provide
certified public accounting services for the City.
SECTION 3. Upon satisfactory completion of the City's 2008 audit, the Board of Directors
may exercise an option to extend the audit agreement for 2009 and 2010.
